Exhibit: Labor Conquers All @ Central Library

Explore the fascinating history of labor in Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s state motto is “Labor Omnia Vincit,” Latin for “Labor Conquers All.” From the Oklahoma History Center of the Oklahoma Historical Society, this exhibit explores the variety of opportunities and resources that contributed to the growth and diversity of the state. Some of the topics include agribusiness, entertainment, public service, retail and oil. Exhibit is sponsored in part by Oklahoma Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Smithsonian Institute.

Youth ages 12-18 have a place to hang out, express themselves and enjoy live music, wifi and free hot beverages courtesy of QuikTrip. Coffee House is open every Saturday night from 7-11 and admission is always free.

If you’re expecting Black Friday to leave you black and blue, then take a break from your “retail therapy” and opt for some comic relief with Laughing Matter… Oklahoma’s longest-running improv troupe.

Come join us on Saturday, November 16th, 8:00 p.m., at the PH Community House, located a half-mile west of the Cox Center on 3rd Street. We don’t have massage chairs, but we won’t rub you the wrong way.

Admission is $8.00 ($4.00 for children under 12)
We accept cash or debit/credit card (VISA or MasterCard only)

Welcome to the 2019 Blue Dome Holiday Pop-Up Shops! Join us inside Tulsa’s historic Blue Dome building each weekend in November and December to shop your favorite local artists and handcrafters. Come say hello to past Blue Dome Arts Festival vendors and get your holiday shopping fix at the same time. You’ll find something for everyone on your shopping list… and maybe a little something for yourself, too! New artists will be announced each week, so stay tuned!

Sunday Family Nature Walk @ Gathering Place

Every third Sunday of the month, spend your day strolling through the Park as you learn about nature and explore the many ecosystems that call Gathering Place their home at Sunday Family Nature Walk!

Join Naturally STEM at this month’s Sunday Family Nature Walk where we will explore the difference between reptiles and amphibians! Go on a “herping expedition” to look for reptiles and amphibians in their native habitats throughout the Park. After your walk, slither back to ONEOK Boathouse to make a snake craft and even meet a live snake! Sunday Family Nature Walks are free and open for all ages!

Sunday Family Nature Walks begin and end at ONEOK Boathouse, with two separate walk times available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Funday Sunday @ Gilcrease Museum

The third Sunday of the month is Funday Sunday. It’s a free admission day loaded with fun for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy art projects for all ages, gallery tours, activities and special guest performances. Free program, no reservations required.
