Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Here are my top 10 picks for Mother's Day!
The countdown to Mother’s Day is on. There is no doubt that, hands-down, a homemade card from your child is the best gift to receive. Anything sentimental wins this Mom over. It is no secret Moms usually treat themselves last. Putting others first is in their DNA. If you are looking for some gifts this Mother’s Day, here are some suggestions. And there is still time to grab a gift before May 12!
Being able to listen to music or take a call without using your hands is amazing. All Moms have their hands full daily. So give your Mom the gift that would even allow a solo dance party! www.amazon.com/Apple-AirPods-Wireless-Charging-Latest/dp/B07PYLT6DN
Falling in love with working out is always a challenge for me. This year I started working out at Barre3. Due to a back injury I know I need to improve my core, and many of my friends have been raving about Barre3 for years. I finally started going, and it’s a great fit! The space is beautiful, and the classes provided results. The staff is kind and some classes offer child care. I hope I get to go more consistently over the summer. Every Mom I know would love this gift! barre3.com/studio-locations/tulsa
This is on our family bucket list. Every family I know that has had the chance to go to Big Cedar Lodge says they will 100% return again. This is a great gift idea for Mother’s Day. Book a summer trip and make sure to throw in a spa day for Mom! bigcedar.com/
This entire year my face has not been happy. It may just be protesting that the fab Rica moved to California. But a fellow twin Mom sells Ballame Skin Care. I have very sensitive skin but tried the samples. My skin is looking and feeling so much better. I would highly recommend the cleanser and serum! bellame.com/meganguertin
5. Deco Drinks
My go-to for years was always a latte. Now call me part of the matcha fan club! Deco Drinks is a perfect spot for the Mom in your life to escape reality for awhile. The food is yummy, and the drinks are the best in town! www.decodrinks.co/home
The list of projects I would like to have created tends to grow daily. An outdoor patio, a brand-new back door and, of course, I keep intending to schedule a consult to have my roof checked! This local company will guide you through all your roofing and restoration needs. Get the Mom in your life a gift card to HCS. Or better yet, just check off one of the projects on her wish list. hcsroofingandrestoration.com/
Getting to go to Odette is such a treat. Having a manicure and pedicure can provide so much relaxation to your day. Now that summer is knocking on our door, all the Moms need a pedicure. The staff is always kind and the spa has a great color selection. odettenailtulsa.com/
Sara is truly my ultimate girl crush! She is talented and also just a good human to boot! I just ordered my first item from her, but the list of art I would like to buy from her for my house is as long as my driveway. If the Mom in your life likes modern art, surprise her with art from Sara! sarabostfisherart.com/
9. Donate to a non-profit that is close to her heart
Tulsa is filled with non-profits that change lives. Making a donation in honor or someone is one way to make a difference and warm a heart. This Mom would love a donation to 12&12! 12and12.org/
On May 11 there will be a new 21-foot-tall man living on Route 66! Buck Atom’s is the latest roadside attraction being brought to Tulsa, thanks to the dreaming of Mary Beth Babcock. If you would like to be part of history, Buck Atom’s is selling bricks that will be placed by Buck. You can still order a brick. Also, I am a huge fan of the Buck T-shirts. They are my go to for gifts! https://www.fundraisingbrick.com/online-orders/buckatom/?fbclid=IwAR2I37Eb2vFedCNpd-FGAGzsRqXx6jXXTn_uuF3PswkHJO9kEs53cw-IY1A
No matter what you do this Mother’s Day, just let all the Mom heroes in your life know they are loved. A simple text, letter, call or visit is the best gesture. Happy Mother’s Day to all the fab Moms I have in my tribe.
