2. Hike beneath the full moon
Oxley Nature Center hosts full moon hikes most months. Hikers must pre-register by 4:30 p.m. two days before the walk, by calling 918-596-9054. Even if you don’t see a full moon hike on the calendar, Oxley offers other guided hikes throughout the month.
Ray Harral Nature Center in Broken Arrow hosts Full Moon Hikes as well. Pre-register for a guided hike, or do a self-guided hike. Follow @RayHarralNatureCenter on Facebook for updates.
3. Sit for storytime

4. Cheer for Tulsa Drillers!
Most Tulsa Drillers games do cost more than $5 per ticket. However, keep an eye out for $2 Tuesday specials, where you can get Ferguson Kia Lawn and COUNTRY Financial Terrace tickets for just $2 – and discounted concessions as well!
5. Attend First Friday – or Second Friday!
The Tulsa Arts District hosts a special art crawl and events on the first Friday of every month, 6-9 p.m.
The Historic Red Fork District comes alive on the second Friday of each month for the Route 66 Art Crawl, also 6-9 p.m.
6. Enter TulsaKids’ Cover Kid Contest
Our Cover Kid Contest, presented by Dental Depot, is free to enter! Submit a photo of your kid (ages 2-17) through July 15, then vote once daily from July 16-31.
7. See a Classic
Will Rogers Memorial Museum hosts free movies on the last Friday of most months. (Holidays may affect the schedule.) Plus, before the movies, guests can participate in fun craft activities. They even provide free popcorn!

8. Swim and Splash!

9. Play at the Bartlesville Kiddie Park
The Bartlesville Kiddie Park has been a great place to make family summer memories for generations. Ride tickets are still just .75 each, making it an affordable family outing.
10. Visit a roadside attraction
Tulsa’s number of iconic roadside attractions has grown lately. In addition to the Golden Driller and Buck Atom Space Cowboy, you can now visit Buck’s neighbor, Stella Atom, Meadowgold Mack the Lumberjack, Cowboy Bob and Rosie the Riveter! Find them all on Route 66, between Utica and Peoria.
11. Celebrate classic cars at the Redbud Rumble
This FREE event features a car and bike show, motorcycle run, live music, food and booth vendors, beer tent, a kid’s zone, and so much more!
12. Play at a new inclusive playground

13. Play Dungeons and Dragons with TCCL

14. Take a Hike!
There are so many wonderful places to hike for free around the Tulsa area. Our suggestions include Turkey Mountain, Oxley Nature Center and Keystone Ancient Forest. Turkey Mountain now offers several volunteer-led hikes for people needing a hiking buddy.

17. Attend a Community Food and Resource Festival
Food on the Move holds monthly Food and Resource Festivals at multiple locations. Here, guests can get fresh produce on a pay-as-you-can model, as well as resources from local organizations. Add in music and food trucks, and these events are fun as well as helpful.
18. Attend Youth Service’s of Tulsa’s Coffee House
While most of the activities listed here are open to all ages, Youth Services of Tulsa’s weekly Saturday night Coffee House is open to ages 12-18. It is free to attend, features different programming each week, and teens can enjoy free wi-fi and hot beverages, thanks to QuikTrip.
