Enjoy a storytime and meet an animal ambassador every Wednesday at the Tulsa Zoo! Storytime will begin at 10 a.m. at the elephant pavilion.

Eleanor’s Bookshop is now hosting a daily storytime at 11:30 a.m.! (Please note: Eleanor’s Bookshop is closed on Mondays.)

Philbrook hosts a Storytime in the Garden on Thursdays at 10 a.m. This event is geared towards kids 10 and under.

Jeanne B. Goodwin Storytelling Festival

Tuesday, July 6 ● 2-3 p.m. 

Join Rudisill Regional Library and performer Muriel Johnson for the annual storytelling festival and let your imagination run wild! From coast to coast, the always fun and interactive Muriel uses her performances to share stories, engaging her audience with different voices, chants and movements. Kids of all ages will be delighted by her contagious enthusiasm. Email rr@tulsalibrary.org for the Zoom invite. After the program date, you can also view her performance on her website at https://www.forherstories.com/tulsa. The annual storytelling festival is a tribute to the late Jeanne B. Goodwin, a lifelong Oklahoma educator and literacy champion who understood how storytelling and the visual experience work to build a vivid imagination. Treefort Storytime at Tulsa Botanic Garden

Thursday, July 15, 10:30-11 a.m. (Also August 19, 10:30-11 a.m.)

Enjoy a nature-themed story in the Children’s Discovery Garden and explore the Garden on your own afterward. Bring a picnic lunch if you like! Free with general admission.

Admission is FREE for Garden members; $8 for ages 13+, $4 for ages 3-12. Children 2 and under are free, but do need a ticket.  Purchase tickets in advance.
