3 Ways to Score Coupons for Organic Foods
It’s a common myth that you can only get coupons for processed “unhealthy” foods. Actually, you can get coupons for organic food and even produce, the same way you get coupons for conventional foods. Obviously, the prices of healthy foods are higher but you can still save money and eat healthy at the same time.
1. Visit Company Websites:
This is a no-brainer, visit the website of the company directly. For example, allergy-friendly Enjoy Life Foods offers many coupons on their website. You’ll find many of your favorite companies do offer savings, even if it’s just .50 off, you can still combine it with a sale for a great deal!
2. Call Companies Directly:
Whoa! This one takes you about 10 steps outside of your comfort zone. Pick up the phone and call the company directly, ask them if they have coupons available and ask them to send them to you. Most companies (if they don’t offer them online) will send you coupons, samples or even full size products at no cost. All you have to do is ask, it’s that simple.
3. Combine Coupons with Store Coupons & Deals:
This is Couponing 101, when you find good coupons, combine them with a great sale or even better, a store coupon. Sprouts, for example, offers a coupon booklet every single month. It’s full of amazing sales and deals! Combining savings methods is the best way to save and you can do that on anything from drug store items to organic foods.
Eating organic and healthy is an investment in your health and believe me, it’s worth it. I learned this lesson the hard way. But, I’ve also learned I can still save money even on the “good stuff.” It might take a bit more creativity and a few extra calls but, I’m eating good now and saving serious cash at the same time.
The picture in this very article is from one of my writers who used coupons, sales and other great deals and saved $80 at Sprouts this week! Amazing!
