Tulsa Botanic Garden offering free tickets for admission Oct. 24-26
Tulsa Botanic Garden will offer free tickets for admission to the Garden on Friday, Oct. 24, Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission at 4:30 p.m.) to celebrate the Caja de Agua gift from Tulsa Sister City, San Luis Potosí and celebrate the last weekend of the Garden’s popular Autumn in the Botanic Garden festival.
The announcement was made at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Caja de Agua on Sunday, Oct. 19. The Caja de Agua Fountain was gifted to the City of Tulsa by its oldest Sister City, San Luis Potosí, honoring 45 years of exchange, collaboration, and community.
To ensure a smooth experience and manage limited parking, the public is encouraged to reserve free, timed-entry tickets in advance at tulsabotanic.org/tickets. Food and drinks will be available for sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and last admission to the Garden will be at 4:30 p.m. The Garden closes at 5 p.m. each day. The Garden will also be offering $10 off any membership purchased at the Garden on Oct. 24, 25 and 26.
All sales at the Garden are cashless and no outside food or drink will be permitted.
In addition to seeing the new Caja de Agua fountain and garden area, visitors will be able to experience the last weekend of the Garden’s annual Autumn in the Garden festival, with a Pumpkin Patch featuring 11 different kinds, a hay maze and new Pumpkin House photo stop. “Scarecrow Row” features 30 community scarecrows that guests of all ages can vote on to win the People’s Choice Award.
The Caja de Agua gift was facilitated through the City of Tulsa, the City of San Luis Potosí and Tulsa Global Alliance. Crafted from pink quarry stone and measuring over 8 feet tall and 12 feet wide, the new installation is surrounded by garden beds with plants native to the Mexican region, walking paths, seating and bilingual signage —creating a space for reflection, learning, and connection.
