Signature Symphony Celebrates Nation With ‘America’s Birthday Bash’
Veterans eligible for $5 tickets to annual Independence Day concert
Happy birthday, America! The Signature Symphony at TCC will celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary with America’s Birthday Bash on Thursday, July 2, at the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education.
The annual Independence Day concert brings the Tulsa community together for a family-friendly evening of patriotic classics and cinematic favorites including works by composers like John Williams and John Philip Sousa. The all-American program celebrates the nation’s history and spirit through music that is bold, familiar and festive.
“America’s Birthday Bash is a celebration of the music that tells our nation’s story through a program of remarkable emotional range. We’ll reflect on Lincoln’s enduring words, honor the sacrifice and service of our veterans and celebrate together with music that invites the audience to join in,” says Signature Symphony Artistic Director Scott Seaton. “It’s a concert that reminds us not only where we’ve been, but also where we’re going — and how music has the extraordinary power to bring us together through our shared humanity.”
The concert will feature special guest vocalist Abby Letney, the 2026 Tulsa Sings! Audience Favorite Runner Up, who will join the Symphony for the celebration.
The indoor concert offers a comfortable way for audiences of all ages to celebrate the holiday through live music. Families, veterans, longtime Symphony patrons and first-time concertgoers can enjoy a festive Fourth of July experience without the summer heat.
Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online at signaturesymphony.org or by calling the VanTrease PACE Ticket Office at 918-595-7777. Veterans are eligible for special $5 tickets and can call the Ticket Office to receive the discount.
