Recycle Your Old Electronics at Tulsa Cox Solutions Stores Through Oct. 16 for a Halloween Treat—FREE entry to the “BOO-tanical” at Tulsa Botanic Garden

Support conservation and enjoy a family night out for a special Halloween-themed event at the Tulsa Botanic Garden! Beginning Oct. 2, anyone who drops off small electronic items for responsible recycling at the one of six participating Tulsa Cox Solutions Stores will receive two FREE tickets to the Botanic Garden’s BOO-tanical event on Oct. 16.

“Cox achieved a major milestone last year by becoming the first U.S. company verified as a zero-waste business,” said Roger Ramseyer, Market Vice President of Cox Communications in Tulsa. “By recycling small electronics, our community can join us in reducing waste—and in return, enjoy a special evening at Autumn in the Garden.”

BOO-tanical is part of Tulsa Botanic Garden’s Autumn in the Garden series. The family-friendly event features pumpkin displays, live music, and the popular “Scarecrows in the Garden”—handmade scarecrows created by local groups, businesses, and artists. Families can also enjoy educational activities, carnival-style games, and seasonal treats among thousands of pumpkins and fall florals.

Small electronics and phones can be recycled at the following Tulsa area Cox Solutions Stores through Oct. 16.

Eligible Items include:

Small lithium and alkaline batteries, non-Cox modems and routers, TV and stereo remotes, cables, chords and headphones, Small electronic toys and games. Smart phones can be turned in or traded in and assessed by a Cox employee for potential trade-in offers for Cox Mobile devices. Devices traded in with zero value will be sent to a Cox-approved third-party vendor for recycling through an established device recycling process

Items NOT eligible:

Lead-acid based batteries. Items with refrigerant, monitors, televisions, digital picture frames, large electronics, large or small household appliances.
