Circle of Care Hosts Engaging Event for Tulsa Families

Proceeds from fundraising event will benefit children and families in crisis

Circle of Care, Oklahoma’s largest private provider of foster care services, invites families to Everyone Has a Story — Discover Yours, a Friends of Children event presented by the Helmerich Trust. This new event in Tulsa aims to raise funds for children and families in crisis. Scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Discovery Lab, the event will feature a performance by Hot Toast, a “music company that collaborates with kids to create the ultimate mixtape for growing up.” Hot Toast will also facilitate an exciting activity for kids in attendance.

The event will be begin at 10:00 a.m. in the event space at the Discovery Lab. In addition to the performance and kids’ activity, a delicious brunch will be provided by The Palate at Ranch Acres, and attendees will hear stories from Circle of Care clients explaining the life-changing work the organization is doing in the Tulsa community. At the conclusion of the program at 12:00 p.m., families will have full access to the Discovery Lab for the remainder of the day.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Circle of Care. Established in 1917, Circle of Care not only provides foster care services, but offers programs that offer mental health services, benefit single mothers and young people who age out of the foster care system, and mentor parents seeking reunification with their children. Their stated mission is to bring Christian help, healing, and hope to children and families in crisis to ensure a safe, healthy, and spiritual future.
