Tulsa Public Schools’ Winter Break is December 22, 2025-Jan. 5, 2026. Here are 20 events and activities for Tulsa families to enjoy over the break!

1. Coca-Cola Classic Christmas

  • When: Nov. 21-Dec. 28, (book tickets online)
  • Where: Remington Park, 1 Remington Pl., Oklahoma City

A world of Christmas wonder awaits: Explore a larger-than-life light display; snap a photo with Santa in his ski gondola; race down a snow slide; grab some holiday-themed food and drinks; and much more.

2. Jolly Lane Lights

  • When: Nov. 21-Jan. 1, Monday-Thursday 5:30-10 p.m., Friday-Sunday 5:30-10:30 p.m. (closed Christmas Day)
  • Where: Admiral Twin Drive-In, 7355 E. Easton St.

Locally and family owned, Jolly Lane Lights is back with all new songs and over 100,000 new lights!

3. Garden of Lights at Tulsa Botanic Garden

  • When: Nov. 28-30, Dec. 3-7, Dec. 10-14, Dec. 17-23, Dec. 26-28, 5- 9 p.m.
  • Where: Tulsa Botanic Garden, 3900 Tulsa Botanic Dr.

4. Tulsa Zoo Winter Camp

  • When: Dec. 22 and 29, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (aftercare available till 5:15 p.m. for additional charge)

5. Garden of Lights at Honor Heights Park

  • When: Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day
  • Where: Honor Heights Park, 1400 Honor Heights Dr., Muskogee

The beautiful Honor Heights Park comes alive with lights in the evenings. From Thanksgiving through New Years Day, visitors can enjoy a stunning drive through a holiday delight. The drive-through display includes over 1.2 million shimmering lights, enhancing the natural beauty of the park’s gardens, waterfalls and ponds with holiday displays the whole family will love. muskogeeparks.org

6. Winter Craft Day

  • When: Dec. 30, 1-4 p.m.
  • Where: Central Library, 400 Civic Center

Drop in to explore art supplies, get inspired by books and create winter-themed art together as a family. For all ages.

7. Arvest Winterfest presented with Ascension St. John

  • When: Nov. 28-Jan. 4
  • Where: BOK Center, 200 S. Denver Ave.

Enjoy skating beneath the Tulsa skyline and other festive fun!

8. BA Ice Rink

  • When: November 7-Jan. 5 (See website for schedule)
  • Where: Broken Arrow Rose District

9. Winter Wonderland at WeStreet Ice Center

Tulsa’s favorite holiday destination returns — bringing magic, lights, and festive family fun all season long! From Friday, November 28 through Sunday, January 4, the rink transforms into a sparkling winter village for the whole family. FREE ADMISSION!

10. Visit Oklahoma Aquarium

Spend a day indoors surrounded by sea turtles, sharks and so many more aquatic creatures!

11. Cheer for the Tulsa Oilers

  • When: Dec. 20 and 26, Jan. 2-3, 7:05 p.m.; Dec. 21 and Jan. 4, 3:05 p.m.

14. Philbrook Festival

Thousands of spectacular lights illuminate the Philbrook Gardens for a festive experience unlike any other. Celebrate the season with hot cocoa, musical light shows, make-and-take art projects, visits with Santa, and more.

15. Magical Lights Adventure

  • When: Nov. 21-Jan. 4, 6-10 p.m.
  • Where: Tulsa Raceway Park, 3101 N. Garnett Rd.

Magical Lights Adventure is a music-synced Christmas light drive-thru show, where you pay per vehicle, load up your entire family or friends, and drive through a mile-long path filled with giant tunnels, candy land, and many themed sections with all of your favorite Christmas characters. magicallightsadventure.com

16. Depot Green Christmas Train

  • When: Departs at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 28-Dec. 28 (excluding Christmas). Train rides last about 8 minutes, and the train departs every 15 minutes
  • Where: Depot Green, 205 Elgin St., Muskogee

All aboard the Depot Green Christmas Train! This festive train welcomes all ages out to enjoy a short ride through the Depot Green area where you can gaze at twinkling stars and holiday lights. Hot chocolate, popcorn and sweet treats will be available for purchase.

17. Kwanzaa Celebration Dinner: Honoring Community Through Food and Fellowship

  • When: Dec. 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Where: Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford Ave.

Join the African American Resource Center for an evening of warmth, tradition and togetherness as we honor the first day of Kwanzaa – Umoja (Unity) – with a community dinner. Enjoy delicious food, meaningful conversation and the spirit of fellowship as we celebrate the values that bring us together.

18. Saturday Tiny Tots

  • When: Saturdays, 9-11 a.m.

Kids ages 6 and under are invited to skate, play, ride and jump with their favorite characters!

19. “Polar Express” Family Storytime

  • When: Dec. 27, 10-10:20 a.m.
  • Where: Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.

Join for a family-friendly storytime in Connor’s Cove. There will be a special reading of The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg, followed by a family-friendly movie (rated G). No food or drink is allowed in Connor’s Cove. For families of all ages.

20. Noon Year’s Eve at Discovery Lab

  • When: Dec. 31, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Where: Discovery Lab, 3123 S. Riverside Dr.

Join or a fun-filled celebration featuring music, hands-on science activities, and an incredible balloon drop with over 22,000 balloons at noon! Purchase tickets in advance.
