Day of Dignity – Back to School Celebration

In partnership with Islamic Relief USA’s national Day of Dignity initiative, this event provides free backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, essential resources, and a safe, festive environment for children and families in need.

Free school supplies, 30+ trucks, food trucks, inflatables, vendors and a helicopter! ‘Quiet hour’ is 9-10 a.m., and is a sensory-friendly time with hands-on interaction, but none of the loud horns.
Back to School NeighborFest

Northside Neighbors, Be Well Community Development Corporation and InvestNorth are hosting a Back-to-School Neighbor Fest, a free community event designed to support local North Tulsa families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. Each attendee will receive a free meal, and there will be 500 backpacks distributed, free helmets and bike tuneups, games, entertainment, immunizations from Tulsa Health Department and more.
Cuts for Kids

From the TPS Website: “Tulsa Public Schools works with local organizations to help provide those in need with items including clothes, school supplies, shoes, and even specially requested items. Please contact your school’s counselor for assistance with uniforms or supplies for the school year.”
Sand Springs Community Services, Inc.
Families living in the Sand Springs school district who need assistance with food or clothing can visit sscsok.org for information about how Sand Springs Community Services serves families.
The Pencil Box
The Pencil Box, which provides a place for teachers from eligible schools to “shop” for free school supplies, is always accepting donations of school supplies, as well as monetary donations. Learn about how to donate here.
