Tulsa City-County Library opens new self-service book vending kiosk

The Tulsa City-County Library hosted a ribbon cutting Sunday, Nov. 23 for its 25th location, the new self-service book vending kiosk “TCCL Express.” The vending kiosk is located at the Tulsa Premium Outlets in Jenks, 801 E. Outlet Drive, near the BOK Play Area.
“We are thrilled to expand library services through this innovative offering,” said TCCL CEO Kimberly Johnson. “TCCL Express exemplifies our commitment to ensuring access and forward-thinking library services throughout Tulsa County by meeting our customers where they live, work, play and shop.”
The kiosk operates as a convenient extension of the Jenks Library, providing access to approximately 350 items for all ages, including popular titles, bestsellers, children’s literature and multimedia content. Customers can use their TCCL card to browse and borrow, and returns can be made through the nearby book drop. Free Wi-Fi is also available and can be used to apply for a library card or to check out digital materials.
“Literacy is a vital component of any thriving community, and we are honored to play a small role in providing reading opportunities to the people of greater Tulsa,” said Hannah Daab, director of marketing and business development at the Tulsa Premium Outlets. “Our entire team is thrilled to welcome the self-service library to Tulsa Premium Outlets, and we look forward to witnessing it be put to use by visitors of all ages.”
