Starting this school year, TulsaKids will proudly recognize two outstanding graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional creativity, passion and potential in the fields of publishing, communications and the arts.

We created the Chuck & Betty Awards to honor two individuals who helped shape TulsaKids for decades—Chuck Foshee, longtime publisher, and Betty Casey, longtime editor. Their dedication to journalism, creative excellence and serving families throughout Northeast Oklahoma continues to inspire the next generation of communicators and creators.

Two $1,000 awards will be given annually—one recipient for The Chuck Award and one recipient for The Betty Award. They are intended to help students with the many expenses that come with beginning college.
