Good Morning America Honors Local Mother Lesley Hemphill

Hemphill adopted a teenager from Tulsa Boys Home three years ago and has inspired others in her community to do the same.

When a Good Morning America representative called me a few weeks ago to ask if I had any ideas for deserving moms to surprise on GMA’s annual Mother’s Day segment, I had several ideas. Every month, TulsaKids supports and honors parents in the community, but a few moms stood out to me. I sent the producer a few ideas, and they chose one of our local moms: Lesley Hemphill!
