Car-Shopping Fun for the Whole Family:

Our experience at Jackie Cooper INFINITI

When you are planning for a family, there are many factors that are discussed and researched. Now, choosing a baby name may be one of the biggest challenges of a soon-to-be parent. Or maybe that was just me. But without a doubt, choosing a car is a very emotional and researched process.

Some families like to plan out and purchase a vehicle before their family is fully formed. Each of you knows that shopping local is something I am passionate about. The kind individuals of Jackie Cooper heard about my love of supporting all things local. They invited the girls and me to Jackie Cooper INFINITI to explore their dealership. This month is the 27th anniversary of this amazing local company.

On our way to this adventure, I told the girls how, many moons ago before they were born, I purchased a car from Jackie Cooper. Of course our conversation went to a funny place of shock that I had a life before them. And they asked me if they were in outer space when I was purchasing that car. I just said, sure, that would be a cool place to be.

When we arrived we were greeted instantly. Our family is a huge advocate of businesses that make it enjoyable and welcoming for the entire family.  The first stop, per the girls’ request, was to look inside a car. Pretending to drive and explore cars is actually a hobby of theirs. They are always going into my friends’ cars. We got to climb around, I mean check out, the QX60. The first thing the girls both noticed was the cool way the trunk closes. On this limited model, you can close the trunk by putting your foot underneath the car. It also knows if something is in the path of the trunk, so no little toes or fingers will get slammed. No matter what your personal preferences are on style, all families want a car that is safe. This specific vehicle has all the features to help parents ride in style while your kids are safe and can enjoy movies during daily commutes or road trips.

While I was learning more detailed information about the car, I was impressed by our salesman, whose name was Jon. He was not phased by my girls asking questions like, “Can we open the sunroof now? Mom, can I drive the car?” Actually, he would do character voices and respond sometimes for me, which was awesome. He can entertain them any day. Some of the car’s unique features that I really liked were the way the seat can be moved to get to the third row without having to take a car seat out. The backup camera is a must to help make sure no small humans or objects are behind you. The depth of the trunk had me daydreaming of a road trip. No doubt this Mom, who is the poster child of over-packing, could stow everything we need back there.

The entire facility is “sparkly and shining.” This is a direct quote from Reese. One of the associates at Jackie Cooper let us know there is a courtesy lounge for anyone who visits. Whether you are there to shop for a car or take your car in for maintenance, there are complimentary food and drinks for the entire family. The girls each chose a water and chocolate chip cookie. I can vouch for the amazing coffee machine. Right next to this area is fun kids zone. While you are choosing a car or waiting for a tune up, your kids will be entertained. The girls truly did not want to leave, but nap time was quickly approaching, so we had to wrap up our fun adventure at Jackie Cooper. We left with high fives all around.

If you are in the market for a car dealership that is local and family friendly, I highly recommend Jackie Cooper. And happy 27 years, Jackie Cooper! If you have a birthday party, please invite us. We are ready to come back anytime.
