Philbrook Transforms for Fall Activities in October

For three weeks in October, Philbrook becomes Fallbrook. The Museum and Gardens transform into an autumn destination featuring festive garden displays, a hay bale maze, art-making activities, films, workshops, and family-friendly experiences from October 10-31.
Fridays: Murder Mystery Experience
Select Fridays, visitors can step into Shadows Beneath the Canvas, a Philbrook-exclusive murder mystery experience written by New York Times best-selling author and Tulsa native Ginny Myers Sain. Participants will access a digital case file, look for clues, gather evidence, and attempt to identify the culprit. They may even run into a few characters to interview in the Galleries.
Saturdays: Game Day Programming
Fallbrook Saturdays offer game day programming for sports fans and families alike. At Tandy Pavilion, visitors can watch live college football on the big screen while enjoying game day food and beverage offerings and hands-on artmaking activities. Outdoors, guests can explore the hay bale maze, enjoy inflatable attractions, and visit the petting zoo.
Sundays: Seasonal Films and Workshops
On Sundays, Fallbrook turns its focus to seasonal films and creative workshops inspired by the traditions of autumn. Featured workshops include Seed Collecting on October 11 and Hand-Lettering with Laurel & Marie on October 18.
The Fallbrook film series includes You’ve Got Mail (1998) on October 11, Little Shop of Horrors (1986) 40th Anniversary on October 16, and Practical Magic (1998) on October 18. The series concludes with the final Films on the Lawn screening of the season: Clue (1985) on October 30.
PhilBOO
PhilBOO! returns on October 25, bringing together art and Halloween-inspired experiences. Families can collect candy as they explore artist-designed interactive installations, create hauntingly fun works of art, enjoy a hayride, discover an enchanted garden, and gather at the PhilBOO! festival stage for live music, costume contests, and more.
The Great Pumpkin Showcase
New for 2026, Philbrook presents The Great Pumpkin Showcase, a pumpkin decorating competition featuring entries from creatives of all ages. Carved and decorated pumpkins will be displayed in the PhilBOO! Pumpkin Village, where visitors can vote for their favorite design. The People’s Choice Award will be announced during PhilBOO! on October 25.
