Fall Break Activities, Day by Day

Saturday, October 10

Tulsa State Fair (Expo square)

The Tulsa State Fair runs from Oct. 1-11 this year, meaning the final two days overlap with Fall Break!

Sunday, October 11

Sensory-Friendly Family Hours (9:30-11:30 a.m., Discovery Lab)

These early hours are designed for families with children on the spectrum and other sensory needs. Lights are dimmed and exhibit sounds are turned down.

Fall Films at the Museum: “You’ve Got Mail” (12-3 p.m., Philbrook)

Cuddle up in Philbrook’s cozy auditorium and enjoy this classic film. Pre-register.

Monday, October 12

Generation Green (9 a.m.-12 p.m., Teaching Garden at Woodward Park)

Drop in for chill crafts and activities with Tulsa Garden Club.

Tuesday, October 13

Story Time at The Flower Meadow (10:30 a.m., The Flower Meadow, Coweta)

A relaxed morning of stories, flowers and friendly farm animals.

Wednesday, October 14

Storytime at Tulsa Zoo (10-10:30 a.m., Tulsa Zoo, 6421 E. 36th St. N.)

Join Tulsa Zoo for storytime at the Oklahoma Central Credit Union Nature Exchange inside the WildLIFE Trek Life in the Cold building.

Thursday, October 15

Fallbrook Storytime: Leaf Man and Leaf Art (10-10:30 a.m., Philbrook)

Listen to Leaf Man and other classics by author/illustrator/collage artist Lois Ehlert then make your own autumnal artwork inspired by the stories and the beautiful Philbrook Gardens.

FC Tulsa Game (7 p.m., ONEOK Field)

It’s Fan Appreciation Night with FC Tulsa! There will be a postgame fireworks show and team poster giveaway.

Sunday, October 18

Brush Creek Bazaar (9 a.m.-6 p.m., 10900 S. Louisville Ave.)

A family-friendly arts & crafts festival with vendors, a petting zoo, inflatables, food and more. Repeats Oct. 17.


Fall Break Camps

Discovery Lab Fall Camps

  • Dates: Oct. 14-16
  • Location: Discovery Lab, 3123 Riverside Dr.
  • Ages: K through 6th Grade

Registration for members opens September 1, registration for non-members opens September 8. Campers must be born before September 1, 2021 to register. Camp placements must match the listed age/grade requirements. Learn more at discoverylab.org/camps

Tulsa Zoo Fall Break Camp: Creepy Critters

  • Dates: 2026 details coming soon
  • Location: Tulsa Zoo, 6421 E. 36th St. N.
  • Grades: K-5th

SoccerCity Fall Break Camp

  • Oct. 12-16, 3 or 5-day options available; half- or full-day options
  • SoccerCity Tulsa, 5817 S. 118th E. Ave.

Bring your kids to SoccerCity’s Camps, ages 5 to 15 years welcome. The groups will be divided among age first and then ability. Children should come ready to listen, learn, and most of all HAVE FUN!! Learn more and register at soccercitytulsa.com/camps
