We Heart Tulsa Drillers!

It’s been a couple of years since our last visit to the Tulsa Drillers, and we decided that two years was long enough! Last time we brought the bigs with us, and this time we brought the littles. We had a great time, and even ran into our Tulsa Family Doulas friends, Sarah Coffin and her beautiful family!

Watching the game and getting hot dogs and cracker jacks are always a treat, but what I love most about Tulsa Drillers games is that they truly make it a family event. Anyone knows that young kids have a hard time sitting still for too long, even when great sports are involved. So, there are several opportunities to stand up and do the chicken dance for the family, play in contests to win prizes and even run on the field!

The kids get to “Run with the Bull” and race across the field chasing after Hornsby!

And there are always photo ops to give him a hug!

All the kids who participated in the run got gift cards for free kids combos!

And after the game, the kids got to run the bases just like the Drillers do.

Also, if your little ones are having a hard time sitting still in their seats, you can head over to the kids zone where they can play on the playground, and there’s even a splash pad where they can cool off! There are lots of home games left this season and plenty have fireworks at the end of the night!
