Community Hanukkah Celebrations

Both Temple Israel and Congregation B’nai Emunah in Tulsa typically host community Hanukkah events. Here are details about this year’s celebrations.

Temple Israel’s Outdoor Hanukkiah Lighting

  • When: Dec. 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Where: Jewish Federation of Tulsa, 2021 E. 71st St.

Gather around the large outdoor Hanukkiah, sing songs, tell the story of Hanukkah, enjoy donuts and hot cocoa. Dreidels will be handed out to those in attendance.

Winterlight Chanukah Festival

  • When: Dec. 14, 5 p.m.
  • Where: Congregation B’nai Emunah, 1719 S. Owasso Ave.

Enjoy food, songs and community fellowship while waiting for the lighting of a giant Chanukkiah.
