Monday, June 1

Summer Reading Program Kickoff Celebration: T-Rex Tea Party (10 a.m.-4 p.m., Central Library)

Celebrate the first day of the Summer Reading Program. Drop in and enjoy crafts and activities, and maybe even have tea with a dinosaur! For all ages.

Little Lab (11-11:30 a.m., Discovery Lab)

Activities will focus on learning shapes, colors, working on fine motor skills, identifying emotions, and more! For ages 4 and younger.

“It Happened on Route 66” Auditions (6:30 p.m., Spotlight Theater)

Audition to be part of Spotlight Children’s Theatre’s summer production! Repeats Tuesday, June 2. All ages and experience levels welcome.


Tuesday, June 2

Lucky Diaz, Grammy/Emmy Award-Winning Author and Musician (11 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-3 p.m., Hardesty Regional Library)

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band is on the pulse of all things kids music and brings smart, crafty lyrics with irresistibly fresh pop beats! For all ages.

TPS Special Education Screening Event (12-4 p.m., TPS Enrollment Center)

This screening is for families who may have concerns about their child’s development, and is designed to help identify potential developmental delays or learning needs. Additional screenings will be held, June 4, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. No appointment necessary

Rose District Farmers Market (4-8 p.m., Rose District Plaza, BA)

Shop the Rose District Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings.

Starlight Concert (8 p.m., Guthrie Green)

Enjoy a free concert Tuesdays in June, plus July 7. Each concert has a different theme.


Wednesday, June 3

Little Garden Explorers (9:30-11:30 a.m., Philbrook Museum)

Spark wonder at Little Garden Explorers, an easygoing play invitation designed for children under 5.

Story Time at Tulsa Zoo (10 a.m., Tulsa Zoo)

Listen to a story and meet an animal ambassador every Wednesday morning at Tulsa Zoo! Story time will meet at the Oklahoma Central Credit Center Nature Exchange located inside the Life of the Cold building.

Stories on the Square (10 a.m., Cherokee National Peace Pavilion, Tahlequah)

Each week will feature a different storyteller, beginning at 10 a.m., followed by cultural activities for all ages. Meets Wednesdays in June.

Downtown Tulsa Midweek Market (4:30-7:30 p.m., Santa Fe Square Plaza)

A vibrant urban market celebrating local food, home goods, art, and entertainment! This open-air marketplace is the perfect midweek stop to shop, explore, and connect with the community.


Thursday, June 4

Pawnee Culture Comes Alive! (11 a.m.-12 p.m., Broken Arrow Library)

Experience the culture of the Pawnee Indians through stories, songs and dance. Come catch a glimpse of the people known as the Chatik si Chatik, the Men of Men. Sponsored by the American Indian Resource Center.

Bands & Blooms (5-8:30 p.m., Tulsa Botanic Garden)

Spend a beautiful spring evening at Tulsa Botanic Garden with Bands & Blooms, a relaxed outdoor concert series set among thousands of spring flowers.

Owasso Gathering on Main Street Fair (6-9 p.m., Downtown Owasso)

A block party featuring live music, vendors, food trucks and more.

ZooLIGHTful (7-10 p.m., Tulsa Zoo)

Step into a glowing dreamscape as Tulsa Zoo transforms after hours into a world of wonder, illuminated with hundreds of handcrafted Chinese animal lanterns along a magical trail spanning over one mile. Repeats Wednesdays-Sundays, March 26-June 28.


Friday, June 5

Family Nature Walk (10-10:30 a.m., Philbrook Museum)

Explore Philbrook’s gardens and learn about the natural world through your five senses. If you like, bring a camera, magnifying glass, or sketching supplies.

Noah’s Flood (7:30 p.m., First Methodist Church of Tulsa)

Britten’s delightful retelling of the Noah’s Ark story is specially composed for children’s voices and performance in a church. The Tulsa Youth Opera will not only sing the roles, but will help create the set, props, and costumes for this charming, family-friendly show. Repeats June 6, 2:30 p.m.


Saturday, June 6

Tulsa Farmers’ Market (7-11 a.m., Kendall Whittier Square)

Shop from local vendors while enjoying family-friendly activities.

Tulsa Tough (June 5-7, various locations – Saturday is in the Tulsa Arts District)

Tulsa Tough is a three-day party on wheels, featuring bicycle races, vendors, rides and more. Kids 9 and under can race in the Brainard’s kids’ races (1:45 p.m. on Saturday); and everyone is invited to participate in the free Williams Townie Sunday at 2:20 p.m.

Coffee House (7-11 p.m., Youth Services of Tulsa, 311 S. Madison Ave.)

Youth ages 12-18 have a place to hang out, express themselves and enjoy live music, wifi and free hot beverages courtesy of QuikTrip. Youth can enjoy new activities and events weekly. Coffee House is open every Saturday night from 7-11 and admission is always free. Check facebook.com/ystcoffeehouse for event updates, including activities and cancellations.

FC Tulsa Game (7:30 p.m., ONEOK Field)

Cheer for FC Tulsa as they play San Antonio FC!


Sunday, June 7

Sensory Sunday (10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wheels and Thrills)

On the first Sunday of the month, Wheels and Thrills will suspend their arcade and laser tag. There will be no flashing lights or loud music.
