Monday, Nov. 24

Little Lab Programming (11-11:30 a.m., Discovery Lab, 3123 S. Riverside Dr.)

Join Discovery Lab every Monday at 11:00 a.m. for Little Lab Programming, for guests 4 years and younger. Activities will focus on learning shapes, colors, working on fine motor skills, identifying emotions, and more!

Generations Celebrations: An Art Experience With Philbrook Museum (4-5 p.m., Philbrook Museum, 2727 S. Rockford Rd.)

The whole family will enjoy this special art project with a guest from the Philbrook Museum of Art.

Build A Reader Storytime: Family (6-7 p.m., Central Library, 400 Civic Center)

Bring the whole family for this 0-to-5 storytime. There’s something for everyone – simple songs and books for the little ones, more interactive stories and activities for your older children.

Tech Take-Apart (2:30-4:30 p.m., Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.)

Ever wanted to rage against the (fax) machine? Join us as we dismantle CPUs, phones and more! Materials are provided. For teens and tweens.

Fitness in the Park: Line Dancing (7 p.m., Tulsa PAC, 110 E. 2nd St.)

Muddy Boots Line Dancing leads a fun and welcoming session filled with upbeat moves and great music. It’s the perfect way to stay active while enjoying the beauty of the park. Free and open to all ages and abilities.


Wednesday, Nov. 26

Story Time at Tulsa Zoo (10 a.m., Tulsa Zoo, 6421 E. 36th St. N.)

Listen to a story and meet an animal ambassador every Wednesday morning at Tulsa Zoo! Story time will meet at the COX Nature Exchange located inside the Life of the Cold building.

Generations Celebrations: Family Show and Tell (4-5 p.m., Maxwell Park Library, 1313 N. Canton Ave.)

Celebrate National Family Week! Bring your treasures and family-friendly stories to share over light refreshments. There will be door prizes.


Thursday, Nov. 27

Von Franken Family Food Run (9 a.m., River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave.)

Everyone is invited to the 9 a.m. start Thanksgiving Day for the untimed 3-ish mile run/walk (or choose your own distance!) around Zink Lake that begins and ends at River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave. The event supports the Salvation Army by collecting donations of nonperishable food items and/or toys for the Angel Tree. Oklahoma Alliance for Animals also will be there to collect supplies for our furry family members. Hosted by Tulsa Running Club

Lights On at Utica Square (6:30 p.m., Utica Square, 21st and Utica Ave.)

Celebrate the start of the season with Lights On at Utica Square—featuring a star-studded live music show, Santa’s grand arrival, and the illumination of more than 700,000 lights.


Friday, Nov. 28

Birds and Brews (9-10 a.m., Ray Harral Nature Center, 7101 S. 3rd St., BA)

Nature Center staff will provide Birds & Beans coffee and various learning materials to help begin your birding adventure. Relax in our lounge area, view the activity at our bird feeders from the observation deck, or use our binoculars for birding on the go! Coffee will be provided while supplies last. Please bring your own cup.

Christkindl Market (4-9 p.m., Woolaroc, 1925 Woolaroc Ranch Rd., Bartlesville)

This enchanting Christmas market was designed to evoke the charm of a festive holiday village straight from a German storybook. It showcases vendors offering high-quality gifts and foods such as bratwurst, pretzels, and mulled wine, plus a variety of fun kids’ activities. Repeats Nov. 29-30

Botanic Garden of Lights (5-9 p.m., Tulsa Botanic Garden, 3900 Tulsa Botanic Dr.)

Reconnect with family and friends in the garden illuminated with colorful lights. Make s’mores over fire pits, enjoy holiday music and take in the spirit of the season in a magical garden escape.  Make your plans and get your timed-entry tickets now! Philbrook Festival (5:30-9:30 p.m., Philbrook Museum, 2727 S. Rockford Rd.)

Thousands of spectacular lights illuminate the Philbrook Gardens for a festive experience unlike any other.

Celebrate the season with hot cocoa, musical light shows, take-and-make art projects, visits with Santa nightly (through December 23rd) from 6-8:30pm, and more. Additional dates through Jan. 3


Saturday, Nov. 29

Tiny Tulsa: An Accessible, Sensory-Inclusive Free Play Program (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Gathering Place, 2650 S. John Williams Way)

This program is designed for Pre-K through 5th grade students and their families and features low lighting, soothing sounds, creative toys, art materials, and adaptive play elements in an inclusive environment, offering children with special needs a space to feel safe and play alongside others. In the ONEOK Boathouse.

The Ornament Festival (10 a.m.-5 p.m., Ruby Clay Co., 409 E. 8th St.)

Shop from a treasure trove of handmade ornaments made by local artists; plus, make or glaze your own ornament for just $5!

Turkey Trek (10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., Herman and Kate Kaiser YMCA, 5400 S. Olympia Ave.)

Enjoy a guided family hike filled with movement, gratitude, and connection. Check in at the Herman and Kate Kaiser YMCA lodge.  The hike will be guided on Turkey Mountain trails for an estimated 2.5 miles in uneven terrain. A 0.3-mile adaptive/flat walking path around Lake Logan is available if needed. Ends with fire and hot cocoa in the lodge. Recommended for ages 5+; free and open to the community.

Coffee House (7-11 p.m., Youth Services of Tulsa, 311 S. Madison Ave.)

Youth ages 12-18 have a place to hang out, express themselves and enjoy live music, wifi and free hot beverages courtesy of QuikTrip. Youth can enjoy new activities and events weekly. Coffee House is open every Saturday night from 7-11 and admission is always free. Check facebook.com/ystcoffeehouse for event updates, including activities and cancellations.


Sunday, Nov. 30

Cascia Hall Christmas Tree Lot (12-4 p.m., Cascia Hall, 2520 S. Yorktown Ave.)
