Celebrate Valentine’s by making cherished memories with your family! Below, you’ll find a list of Valentine’s-themed events happening in the Tulsa area, as well as some other events happening around the holiday. Looking for more? Valentine’s Day Swing Dance

  • When: Feb. 1, 7-10 p.m.
  • Where: Southminster Community Center, 1123 E. 35th Pl.

Dance the night away with The Oklahoma Swing Syndicate (TOSS) to the LIVE tunes of The Savoy Trio! TOSS is excited to welcome this swingin’ Oklahoma-based band to join us for the very first time! There will be an intermediate lesson upstairs from 6:45-7:30 p.m. and a beginner lesson downstairs from 7-7:30 p.m., followed by the dance.


Homeschool Skate: Valentine’s/Red

  • When: Feb. 6, 1-3 p.m.
  • Where: Wheels and Thrills, 10637 N. Garnett Rd., Owasso

Dress in your favorite Valentine outfit or wear something red at this month’s Homeschool Skate event. An Unlimited Band is $14.50 and includes skating, skate rental, playzone access (56″ and under) and unlimited laser tag!


Genealogy Detectives: Family Photo Valentines

  • Thursday, Feb. 6, 10-11 a.m.
  • Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.

Bring a small family photo (approximately 1×1 inch) and create a valentine card to give to a loved one. Crafting and scrapbooking supplies are provided. You may bring other scrapbooking supplies, if you like. Photocopies of family wedding photos or couples are especially encouraged. Registration is preferred. BA Virtual Day: Valentine Edition

  • Friday, Feb. 7, 2-3 p.m.
  • South Broken Arrow Library, 3600 S. Chestnut Ave., Broken Arrow

Roses are red; violets are blue. We’re making valentines; no need to dread! Just bring yourself; we’ll bring the glue. For elementary schoolers.


Second Saturday Art: Mixed Media Valentine’s Cards

  • When: Feb. 8, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Where: Arts@302, 302 S. Main St., Broken Arrow

Celebrate Valentine’s Day making fun mixed media cards! Guest artist Victoria Moore will guide you through various collage techniques to help you craft unique cards for all of your friends and family.

This is a free come-and-go event. Small children will need a grown-up to help create with them. We will have complementary donuts, coffee, and juice for all participants.


Daddy Daughter Dance

  • When: Feb. 8, 2:30-4 p.m.; 5-6:30 p.m.; 7:30-9 p.m.
  • Where: Nienhuis Park Community Center, 3201 N. 9th St., Broken Arrow

Nienhuis Park’s annual Daddy Daughter Dance will include a live DJ, refreshments, goodie bag and tons of fun. Please save and scan your tickets at the gate on February 8. Tickets are $10 Per Person.

Anti-Valentine Night

Do you hate hearts and flowers? Are you tired of red and pink everywhere you go this time of year? Enjoy origami, bookmark making, friendship bracelets and snacks! Presented by the Owasso Teen Advisory Board. For middle and high schoolers.


Artsy Craftsy Kids’ Club: Heart Pendants

  • Thursday, Feb. 13, 3-5 p.m.

Drop in and have fun creating heart-shaped pendants using air-dry clay, acrylic-paint markers, string and beads in this relaxed and flexible child-led, process-oriented workshop. For ages 5-12.


Lovebirds Bird Walk

  • Feb. 14, 9 a.m.
  • Ray Harral Nature Center, 7101 S. 3rd St., Broken Arrow

Birds have a number of ways they show affection–singing songs, dancing, showing off their colors and even sharing snacks! Join for a free, family-friendly bird walk with nature center staff. Listen for mating calls, observe courtship behaviors, and fall in love with birding.

Build A Reader Storytime: Family/Stay and Play – Valentine’s Day

Bring the whole family for a fun Valentine’s Day storytime featuring playful stories, songs, rhymes and bubbles. Afterward, stay and play with our developmental toys and make a fun craft. Birds & Buttons Scavenger Hunt

Wear your heart and show your love for Swing Dance! Join The Oklahoma Swing Syndicate for a night of swing. There will be an intermediate dance lesson from 6:45-7:30 p.m.; a beginner dance lesson from 7-7:30 p.m.; and the dance from 7:30-10 p.m.


Glimmer Galaxy Gala: Father-Daughter Dance (Sold out as of Feb. 14)

  • When: February 15, 6-9 p.m.
  • Where: Tulsa Air and Space Museum, 3624 N. 74th E. Ave.

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum proudly presents the Glimmer Galaxy Gala: Father-Daughter Dance, a magical night designed to create memories that will last a lifetime! Expect a night of dancing, light refreshments and a sparkling atmosphere surrounded by the museum’s exhibits.
