CAMP ARCHITECTURE at Tulsa Foundation for Architecture

Times: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

 

TFA CAMP ARCHITECTURE gives curious kids an opportunity to dive into an architectural topic of interest and test out their own creative design ideas. Each week explores a different theme through hands-on creativity, guided investigations of architectural examples, and interactive presentations and discussions led by our highly qualified Educators and special guests (architects, engineers, city planners, interior designers, etc.).

 

For students entering grades 3-6 (ages 8-11)

 

Each week-long camp is Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

 

Urban Neighborhood Design

June 12-16
Students in this camp will explore how Tulsa has changed over the years and what’s in store for the future as they construct their own designs for an ideal urban neighborhood.

 

Dream House Design

June 19-23
In this camp, students will imagine and design their own personal dream house using a variety of materials.

 

Architectural Cosplay

July 10-14
In this fun and creative camp costumes, architecture and sustainability collide! Students will draw inspiration from downtown Tulsa buildings to develop and create an architectural-based character complete with a backstory and a one-of-a-kind wearable costume using new and recycled materials.
