Tempo Montessori Charter School is a free public charter school bringing authentic Montessori education to families in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Opening in August 2027, Tempo Montessori will initially serve pre-K4, kindergarten and 6th grade students, expanding each year until it serves pre-K3 through 8th grade.

Our mission is to provide students and families with access to a high-quality public Montessori education that nurtures academic excellence, personal responsibility and a lifelong love of learning. Through individualized instruction, hands-on materials, uninterrupted work cycles and purposeful guidance from highly trained Montessori educators, students develop independence, critical thinking and confidence.

Tempo Montessori combines the proven Montessori approach with Oklahoma Academic Standards to ensure students receive both a developmentally responsive and academically rigorous education. Multi-age classrooms foster leadership, collaboration and respect, while allowing children to progress at their own pace.
