City to Celebrate Welcoming Week Sept. 10–19
The City of Tulsa will celebrate Welcoming Week 2026 from September 10 to 19. This marks the sixth year the City has participated in the nationwide and global initiative that highlights and celebrates diverse cultures and communities.
Welcoming Week is designed to promote understanding, inclusion and connection among residents. Tulsa’s diverse communities continue to play an essential role in shaping the city’s identity, growth, and sense of belonging.
“The events planned showcases the vibrant communities that call Tulsa home,” Dion’trae Hayes, Chief Resilience Officer said. “From family-friendly activities to sports and festivals, Welcoming Week offers residents opportunities to meet new people, learn from one another and celebrate our shared community.”

United Through Soccer: 8 Countries, One Trophy!
