Avant Garde Preschool & Early Learning Center is a boutique early education center in the heart of Brookside, offering a warm, home-like setting for infants through pre-kindergarten, plus after-care pickup for Council Oak and Eliot Elementary. Housed in a converted home, Avant Garde Brookside gives families a true neighborhood learning environment, led by Director Brianna, who brings over 10 years of early childhood expertise, and her dedicated teaching team.

At Avant Garde, we believe children learn best when they’re allowed to explore, discover and create, which is why our program is built on a play-based curriculum, giving children the freedom to build critical thinking, social-emotional and language skills at their own pace.

Avant Garde Brookside is proud to be accredited by the NECPA Commission (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation), a distinction that requires evaluation by a nationally recognized outside agency and re-evaluation every three years to ensure ongoing quality, giving families added peace of mind. Our curriculum integrates STEAM enrichment and a screen-free classroom, with homemade meals prepared on-site daily.
