Tulsa Performing Arts Center Youth Advisory Board Accepting Applications for Second Year

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center is now accepting applications for its Youth Advisory Board as the program enters its second year following a successful inaugural cohort.

Launched in 2025, the Youth Advisory Board empowers high school students to develop leadership skills while helping shape the future of the performing arts in Tulsa. Open to students entering grades 9–12, the program provides hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, collaboration, community engagement, and arts advocacy.

Throughout the school year, Youth Advisory Board members work alongside Tulsa PAC staff and the TPACT Board of Trustees to learn how a nonprofit arts organization operates, provide valuable youth perspectives, and help develop initiatives that engage young audiences and strengthen connections with the community. Members also gain experience in leadership, teamwork, and civic engagement while building relationships with fellow students who share a passion for the arts.

“With this initiative, TPAC has empowered students like me to step up and make a real difference,” said Judah Brown, Chair of the inaugural Youth Advisory Board. “They have given us the freedom to shape a program that reflects exactly what the next generation of theatre needs. It is a great experience and an opportunity that will actively steer the future of Tulsa’s theatre community.”

Applications are now open for an August start. Interested students can apply online at tulsapac.com/youth-advisory-board.

Selected board members will serve during the 2026–2027 school year. Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially those with a passion for the arts and a desire to make a positive impact in their community.
