More Amazing Moms 2026

We received so many wonderful nominations for this year’s Amazing Moms contest, each one highlighting the ways moms show up for their families and communities. Here are a few more women we’re proud to recognize.

Emma Atchison and her family

Emma Atchison

With three young children (Violet, Leo and Henry) and a weekend schedule of overnight hospital shifts, Emma has shaped her life around being present—both for her own family and for others. She works 12-hour weekend nights so she can spend weekdays at home, and still makes it to everything: soccer games after no sleep, church where she leads worship and organizes the children’s Christmas program, and friends’ homes during hard seasons.

“She comes over and just starts washing dishes, sweeping the floor or holding the baby while I sleep,” her nominator wrote.

Emma brings that same care to the hospital, where she supports families navigating the NICU.

“I have a deep passion for supporting other mothers as they navigate the challenging experience of having a baby in the NICU,” she says.

At home, her care extends to a full household—35 chickens, seven goats, a cow, bunnies and dogs.

“Motherhood is, and always will be, my greatest accomplishment.”

Holly Chapman and her sons

Holly Chapman

As a single mom of two boys, Holly Chapman has built her days around showing up for them—first by opening an in-home daycare when they were young, and now as a junior high math teacher whose work extends well beyond the classroom. She coaches academic teams, teaches life skills and helps students build confidence in ways that reach past academics. At home, that same intentionality shapes how she raises her sons.

“Being their mom is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I’ve never felt more fulfilled,” she says. “Every move I make is for them.”

Those who know her describe someone dependable and generous—the kind of person others count on—and the kind of mom her boys, 5-year-old Andrew and 8-year-old Gabe, can count on every day.

“They teach me how to be gentle, sensitive, confident, brave, funny and so much more. Being their mom means more to me than I could ever describe in words,” she says.

Esther Sudbrink

Nominated by her 6-year-old son, William, Esther Sudbrink is, quite simply, “Wonder Woman.” In his eyes, she’s a hero—especially after finishing cancer treatment. At home, Esther’s days are filled with the everyday moments that matter most: caring for William and his younger brother, Henry.

“She reads stories to us and takes us to the park. She takes us swimming at the Y—and I hope I can pass the swim test,” William says.

To her kids, Esther is a hero—and in the ways she shows up each day, it’s easy to see why.
