In 2013, Paige Bodden formed Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue (SPACAR) based on her dream to make the community’s animal control facility a “no-kill” shelter. The rescue and its shelter are located in the town of Skiatook in northeastern Oklahoma just 30 minutes from Tulsa.
