Sport Clips of Kingspointe Partners with JAMES Inc. for Holiday Fundraiser Supporting Young Parents
Local salon to donate $5 per haircut to organization helping adolescent families achieve self-sufficiency

This holiday season, getting a haircut means giving back to young families in Tulsa.
Sport Clips Haircuts of Kingspointe is partnering with JAMES Inc., a Tulsa nonprofit organization, for a special Focus Week fundraising campaign running December 14-20. For every MVP Haircut Experience purchased during the week, Sport Clips will donate $5 to JAMES Inc., an organization dedicated to helping expectant and parenting adolescents become self-sufficient.
“JAMES Inc. is where young parents become stable, confident decision-makers,” says Alisa Bell, Executive Director/Founder of JAMES Inc. “Our program and services provide them with the support to realize how to build better futures for themselves, their families, and our city.”
JAMES Inc. – which stands for Just About Mothers Excelling in School – provides comprehensive support services including educational assistance, parenting resources, and life skills training to help young families thrive.
The partnership comes at a critical time when many young parents face mounting challenges.
“Realizing the impact of my voice informed me that we are never too much and my presence holds power in the spaces I put myself in,” said Charley Galicia, president of Young Parent Advisory Board (YPAB). “Through YPAB we are presented with wonderful opportunities to connect with powerful leaders to inform our leadership development and civic engagement.”
Customers who purchase an MVP haircut during Focus Week will also receive 50% off their next visit.
“We wanted to find a way to support an organization that’s making a real difference in our community,” said Sport Clips manager Marisa Sapero. “JAMES Inc. is helping young people build stronger families and achieve higher personal and educational aspirations, and we’re proud to be part of that mission.”
The “Look good. Feel good. Do good.” campaign encourages Tulsa residents to support local families while enjoying quality haircut services.
JAMES Inc. says the funds raised will directly support their programs throughout the year, helping more young parents achieve their goals.
