School Highlight

University School recently hosted an exciting event for fifth- and sixth-graders with the help of UTulsa’s Hurricane Rocketry Club. Guided by passionate engineering students seeking to share their love of learning, the kids launched their own stomp rockets, sparking curiosity and joy with an afternoon of hands-on science and design.

“Giving back to kids the same age I was when I discovered my passion for engineering means a lot,” shared Ryan Smith, club president. This collaboration not only provides fun learning experiences but also inspires the next generation of problem-solvers.

Gabriel Fuchs, Director of University School, emphasized the benefits of the special connection between the school and the University. “This kind of partnership is just one of the features that makes University School special. We are always in search of new ways to inspire learning using the wealth of resources UTulsa offers.”
