Metro Christian Academy
Metro Christian Academy is a special place where learning and faith come together in a unique and meaningful way. Located in the heart of Tulsa at 63rd and Trenton, we serve students from age three all the way through 12th grade, providing them with a Christ-centered education in a welcoming, interdenominational environment.
At Metro, we believe every child is uniquely created in the image of God, and that belief shapes everything we do. From preschoolers just beginning their educational journey to high schoolers preparing for what’s next, our students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually and socially. The curriculum is challenging but supportive, blending rigorous academics with a strong foundation in Christian values.
Life at Metro isn’t just about what happens in the classroom. Our students can dive into athletics, fine arts, clubs and other activities that let them explore their passions and build leadership skills. Whether it’s excelling on the field, performing on stage or serving the community, there’s a place for everyone to shine.
What makes Metro truly special is the sense of community. Teachers, students and families work together to create a place where kids feel seen, supported and inspired to reach their full potential. Learn more about us at metroca.com.
School Highlight
At Metro Christian Academy, students aren’t just learning about entrepreneurship – they’re living it. Meet Metro MoJoe, the student-run coffee shop created and operated entirely by the high school. Juniors and seniors in the school’s enterpreneurship classes. What started as a class project has grown into a thriving venture, offering hot and iced espresso drinks, lattes, americanos, hot chocolate, chocolate milk and handcrafted energy drinks – all served with a smile.
The 44 students behind Metro MoJoe have built the business from the ground up, handling everything from naming the shop to purchasing equipment, learning barista skills and designing a transaction system. With drinks priced affordably at $3 and energy drinks at $4, the shop has become a popular stop for students and staff alike.
Teacher Tom Ribaudo explains that the idea was born out of a simple problem: Students were often running late to class or spending extra money grabbing coffee on their way to school. Now, Metro MoJoe provides a convenient, on-campus solution.
Senior Quinn Nielsen shares that the experience has been both challenging and rewarding. “It feels good to know you can do a job under stress, especially when the line is long,” she says. Looking ahead, the students hope to expand, introducing new and seasonal offerings to keep their menu fresh.
Metro MoJoe is more than a coffee shop – it’s a hands-on lesson in teamwork, innovation and business success.
