A short drive west of Oklahoma City along I-40 or historic Route 66 is a tradition-rich two-year college in El Reno. Redlands Community College, located less than 30 minutes from downtown Oklahoma City, is home to more than 2,200 students pursuing degrees that prepare them to transfer to a four-year university or enter the workforce.

We have seamless transfer agreements with several Oklahoma universities, or students can go straight to a career with certificates, such as documentary filmmaking, drone piloting or athletic/personal trainer. We also have an Applied Science degree program for students who earn block credit at career technology centers and take general education courses at Redlands.

With 20+ clubs and sports, there is a place for everyone. We offer clubs ranging from photography and art to Dungeons & Dragons and student government. Redlands’ strong agriculture program has attracted students from across the country with drone and robotics technology, competitive regional and national award-winning Livestock Judging, Beef and Shooting Sports teams. In addition, we are home to five NJCAA-sanctioned athletic teams — basketball, baseball, cross country, and women’s soccer and golf — and an NJCAAE-sanctioned eSports team.

Scholarships and tuition waivers are available each year for current and prospective Redlands students. With tuition waiver scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,000, nearly 40 scholarships, and concurrent fee assistance, there are resources to make a Redlands education even more affordable. The application goes online November 1, and most scholarship applications are due March 1.
