They're fun, they're fast, they're toddlers, and they (you) need to have an activity! We've highlighted some events that we think you'll enjoy doing with your little play date. Also, be sure to find a story time that works for you and our daily calendar is always a helpful resource.
Bikes, Balls and You at Whiteside Recreation Center
Bikes & Balls is located in the gymnasium at Whiteside Recreation Center. You can bring a bike, a ball, or nothing at all and let your toddler (1-5 years) socialize with other children. Bikes and Balls is every Tuesday and Thursday; 9:30-11 a.m.
Tiny Tots at Wheels and Thrills
Tiny Tots at Wheels and Thrills is every Thursday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.! Kids 6 and under can skate, enjoy riding toys, bouncy houses and more for just $7 per child. www.wheelsandthrills.com
Learn and Play at Gilcrease
Presented in collaboration with Tulsa Community College Early Childhood Education Department, this program is designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers to enjoy a developmentally-appropriate gallery experience followed by hands-on activities designed to stimulate early learners in a lively, social atmosphere. Snacks and all materials are provided.

Mondays at Discovery Lab
Every Monday, from 10:30-11 a.m., Discovery Lab hosts activities perfect for caregivers and young children. On the first Monday of the Month, try Caregiver/Child Yoga. On the second Monday, Dance & Sing Along with Executive Director Ray Vandiver and the Discovery Lab Band! The third Thursday of each month in Sensory for the Young Scientists, where kids can listen to a science-themed story before trying their own simple experiments. Finally, Move It Monday is the fourth Monday of each month; participants will engage in a variety of activities "designed for young children's physical, emotional and social development." Story Time at Gathering Place

Toddler Time at Chandler Park
Toddler Time at Chandler Park is just $3 per child and features different activities each session! Toddler Time meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month when in season. Go to Chandler Park's Facebook page for upcoming event details.
Kids' Corner at Linnaeus Teaching Gardens
Kids' Corner is located inside the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens and features monthly learning activities focused on exploring nature, as well as picture books relevant to the month's theme, puzzles and more. Learn more here. NOTE: Linnaeus Teaching Garden closes for a couple months in the winter.
Oxley Nature Center
The Oxley Interpretive Building is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.
The Interpretive Building houses hands-on exhibits, a classroom, a small library and wildlife viewing area, restrooms and drinking fountain, a small gift shop, staff offices and other work areas. First-time visitors may want to stop by the Interpretive Building first to pick up a map of the trails and chat with the staff about current trail conditions. Exhibits include displays and explanations of what might be encountered at the Nature Center, and offer visitors a chance to find out more about the rich diversity of Tulsa's natural and cultural history. You might want to allow yourself 15 to 30 minutes to study an exhibit or two, either before or after your hike.
There are no vending machines or food sales at the Nature Center, so be sure to bring with you any supplies you might need during your visit.
Admission to Oxley Nature Center and Redbud Valley is free. Specific programs may have a nominal fee (usually $2-$3) and are usually free to members of the Friends of Oxley Nature Center. There is a $2.00 Mohawk Park entrance fee on weekends from April through October, but this fee is waived for members of the Friends of Oxley Nature Center.
