TYS Holiday Concert

The three ensembles of the Tulsa Youth Symphony will present their Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the Union High School Performing Arts Center, 6636 South Mingo Road.

General Admission tickets are available at the door, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
$15.00 adults; $10.00 children 12 and under and seniors 60+.


The PREPARATORY STRING ORCHESTRA, conducted Amelia Ivory: Lullaby to the Moon and Rise of the Olympians by Brian Balmages; Dynasty by Kathryn Griesinger and When She Loved Me by Randy Newman 

The CONCERT ORCHESTRA, conducted by Pete Peterson: Arrangements of Bizet’s Carmen Suite and Danse Bacchanale by Camille Saint-Saens; Celebration by Richard Meyer, conducted by Benjamin R. Miner. 

The SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, conducted by Ron Wheeler and Richard Wagner: Wassail Song for Brass Choir by Ralph Vaughan Williams; 8 Russian Folk Songs by Anatoly Liadov; Carol of the Bells; Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, conducted by Dr. John Jenkins.
