AVANT GARDE SPRING BREAK CAMP 2018

  • Location: Avant Garde Sheridan (7607 S. Sheridan Rd.) and Brookside (4103 S. Detroit Ave.) Centers
  • Dates: March 19-23, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Ages: 5-11

CLARK YOUTH THEATRE

  • Location: Henthorne Performing Arts Center, 4825 S. Quaker Ave.
  • Dates: March 19-23, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (7:30 early drop off available)
  • Ages: 8-14
  • Cost: $130, includes before/after care and DVD of camp performance

This is a great opportunity for youth interested in theatre involvement. The camp includes classes on acting, dancing, singing, and other performance skills. Children will need to bring a sack lunch each day. There will be one performance for family and friends on March 23; from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Register online at www.clarkyouththeatre.com/camps


OKC THUNDER YOUTH BASKETBALL HUSTLE CAMP

  • Location: Aspen Creek Elementary, 2800 W. Florence St., Broken Arrow
  • Dates: March 20, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (ages 6-9); 1-5 p.m. (ages 10-14)
  • Ages: 6-14

Our goal is to provide every Thunder Youth Basketball participant with quality instruction from our Thunder-certified youth basketball coaches, who will create developmentally appropriate drills and customized instruction for each camp. We strive toward a focus on defined fundamentals: instilling the importance of teamwork, creating a positive learning environment and increasing campers’ self-confidence to encourage hard work, focus and persistence. We look to inspire a love for the game that creates motivation for continual play among youth.

CAMP INFO:

Thunder Youth Basketball camps, presented by Cox Communications, offer kids the opportunity to grow in the fundamentals of the game and engage in a hands-on, team-centric environment. Camp participants will be instructed on technical fundamentals, taking part in development drills to improve skill sets within defense, ball-handling, shooting, layups and more. PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF SOUTH TULSA

Location: Primrose School of South Tulsa, 10185 S. 85th E. Ave., Bixby

Come join us for a week of project-filled fun!  We will be exploring kinetic art with special Reduce, Reuse, Recycle art projects and participating in STEAM projects with fun games like Sink My Boat! TULSA AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM

  • Location: Tulsa Air and Space Museum, 3624 N. 74th E. Ave.
  • Dates: March 19-22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Cost: For non-members, $250 for the week, or $75 per day

The theme for this year's TASM Spring Break Camp is "Weird Science: it's all in the name of science." Campers will be encouraged to get weird with creative ways to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts. Campers will experience hands-on learning with planetarium shows, crafts, tours, projects, guest speakers and other forms of active engagement throughout the week. EAch day children will learn and explore something new alongside the experienced staff and volunteers.

TULSA BALLET CENTER FOR DANCE EDUCATION 

Fairy Tale Ballet Camp

  • Location: Brookside Campus (1212 E. 45th Pl. S.) or Broken Arrow Campus (1901 W. New Orleans St.)
  • Dates: March 19-23, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (ages 3-5) or 1-4 p.m. (ages 6-8)
  • Ages: 3-8
  • Cost: $250

Join TBCDE during Spring Break for a special week-long fairy tale adventure! Students will learn all about our favorite fairy tale characters through a variety of classes, including ballet, jazz, craft time, story time and more! Parents are invited to join us on the last day of camp for a peek at what we've been learning! Plant and Animal Adventures

  • Ages: 4-5
  • Cost: $45/Discovery Lab Member, $50/Non-Member

Students, ages 4-5, learn how our bodies work and how living things stay alive through hands-on activities & full body exercises.

Science of Life: Dissections and Investigations

  • Dates: March 21 & 22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Ages: 6-9
  • Cost: $90/Discovery Lab Member, $100/Non-Member

Students, ages 6-9, will take a closer look at the plants and animals around us, performing dissections and experiments, during a two-day biology camp.

CSI: 918

  • Date: March 23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Ages: 7-10
  • Cost: $45/Discovery Lab Member, $50/Non-Member

A crime has occurred at Discovery Lab—investigators uncovered a smashed watermelon. Discovery detectives will dig into the case using forensic science—concepts include fingerprint dusting, DNA evidence, and scientific method. Register your child to join Tulsa Children’s Museum’s investigative team for this one-day camp.


TULSA ZOO

Spring Break Zoo Camp: Zoomanji!

  • Location: Tulsa Zoo, 6421 E. 36th St. N.
  • Dates: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 19 – 23; Aftercare available from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Ages: 5-7 years old and 8-12 year old camps available
  • Cost: $205 per week, $255 with aftercare; zoo members receive a 10% discount

Join the Tulsa Zoo this spring break and explore board games, with a zoo twist! Pass go and collect zoo properties in Animalopoly. Learn about life cycles in the Game of WILDlife. SUPER Spring Break Day Camp at Chandler Park

  • Location: Chandler Park, 6500 W. 21st St.
  • Dates: March 19-23, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Ages: 6-11

Keep those kids busy over the break! At Chandler Park’s camp, kids can enjoy nature hikes, arts and crafts projects and field trips. Bring your own lunch. Register at the community center by March 15th.

LaFortune Park Junior Golf Camp

  • Location: LaFortune Park Golf Course, 5501 S. Yale Ave.
  • Dates: March 19-22, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Ages: 6-16
  • Cost: $150

Spring Break Camp at South Country Recreation Center

  • Location: SoCo Recreation Center, 13800 S. Peoria Ave.
  • Dates: March 19-23, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Ages: 6-12

WATERWORKS ART CENTER

  • Location: Waterworks Art Center, 1710 Charles Page Blvd.

  • Cost: $125. All Supplies Included!

Do you have a budding artist at home? Help them add to their artistic repertoire with five, fun-filled days during Spring Break. Campers bring a nonperishable lunch, beverage, and morning snack each day and we’ll provide all the art supplies for lots of take-home masterpieces! Enrollment is now open and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. No refunds will be issued after March 9, 2018. Come by to enroll and fill out camp paperwork.


YMCA

Spring Break Camp at the Westside YMCA

  • Location: Westside YMCA, 5400 S. Olympia Ave.
  • Dates: March 19-23, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Ages: 5-15
  • Cost: $28/day for members and $34/day for non-members.

Kids’ Day Out at Owasso Family YMCA

  • Location: Owasso Family YMCA, 8300 N. Owasso Expy

  • Cost: $28/day for members, $34/day for non-members

Kids' Day Out engages youth in experiential learning to continue their development beyond the classroom when school is out through traditional camp activities, including team sports, arts & crafts, STEAM, and much more. Come rain or shine, the Owasso Family YMCA’s programming seeks to give each child an opportunity to expand their horizons through hands-on activities that engage and challenge them. 

This year, attendees will be going on 3 field trips (Tuesday through Thursday) to explore the outdoors. We will be visiting YMCA's urban-eco day camp at Westside on Tuesday, Oxley Nature Center on Wednesday, and YMCA Tulsa's resident camp, Takatoka, on Lake Fort Gibson.
