Camp Barnabas provides life-changing opportunities to children and young adults with special needs and chronic diseases in a Christian camp setting. Through adapting the typical activities of summer camp, we help each child understand they have been uniquely created to live a life of ability. In Summer 2012 we have 13 weeks of summer camp at four different locations across the region.

We also have a special program for siblings, designed to help them to grow in who God uniquely created them to be while helping them understand how He also uniquely created their brother or sister.

At Camp Barnabas children may swim in a pool, lake or creek. They enjoy rifles, archery, canoeing and other outdoor activities. And some of our locations have a fully-accessible challenge course and zip line.

Each camper has a one-on-one volunteer and these volunteers are teamed with our intensely-trained summer and year-round staff. Campers and their families tell us that they look forward to camp more than Christmas and we honor that by planning exciting, challenging activities for them to enjoy each year.
