FCC-CDC provides early childhood education that nurtures and teaches the whole child in a Christian environment. Class schedules and lesson plans are developed on children's interests, needs, and abilities. Activities are balanced between active/quiet play, indoors and outdoors, in our secure play area. Child-initiated & directed play activities are enhanced by coaching assistance from teachers. Time is allowed for larger teacher directed activities: music, stories, and games. The focus is on listening and talking with the children while Baby Signs is used with infants and toddlers, making dialogue a major component. Media is used creatively in the classrooms. Extra-curricular activities: Dance, Music Fundamentals, CompuQuest Computers, Tae Kwon Do, Tumble Bus, Amazing Athletes & Spanish.
