Extracurricular Activities

Ages: 4 – 5 yrs.
Experience piano/keyboard lessons with your 4 or 5-year-old in a fun, interactive class. You and your child will enjoy making music with rhythm instruments, movement, singing, ear training and keyboard songs that are easy to play. In a stimulating classroom, 6 to 8 young children get “hands-on” experience making music on their own individual keyboard. You can sample the Pre-Piano Short Course in a two-week class offered in June and early July. Celebrating its 31st year, Janell Whitby School of Music has a proven curriculum that continues piano study through high school. The school offers a total musicianship concept with group and private lessons for every level following the introductory course. Students are accepted into the program only prior to their preschool or kindergarten years. Enrollment begins in April for the summer Short Course and for the following school year.
