Mommy Styling HELP!
A few weeks ago, I was offered an incredible opportunity to host a segment on Great Day Green Country on Fox 23. As soon as I knew I was going to be on TV, I emailed local stylist and fashionista (who also hosts segments on GDGC), Shannon Schroeder for help with my look!
I don't know about you, but I get stuck in such ruts, with colors and styles, and it's great to have a fresh set of eyes to see things you don't. Let's be honest; since leaving the office to work from home full time, I've adopted quite the "mom look."
She helped me pick out several looks I would have never picked for myself, but looked amazing when I tried them on.
Shannon offers several different packages, and will customize them to your needs. Isn't she cute?
Whatever kind of mom you are, and wherever you work or play, I'm sure you've had moments of frustration with your wardrobe. As our bodies change with motherhood, and as we move further away from college styles, it can be really difficult to find the balance between trendy, professional, casual, and dressy. I don't know about you, but I have a closet overflowing with clothes that I don't love and I don't feel like I look amazing in. I constantly feel like I'm just wearing something that will "do," when I really want to feel great. The outfit Shannon picked for me was nothing in color or style that I would have ever picked for myself. Yet, when I put it on, I smiled at my reflection in the mirror and said instantly, "This is SO me!"
Here's what we picked for my local television debut.
Now, I just have to try to NOT wear that outfit every day!
On my next appointment with her, I'm assigning HER the task of finding me the perfect pair of jeans. I think she'll be up to the task!
Contact Shannon for a closet consultation or to help you with your next big event, and tell her I sent you!
See you around town!
